Freeskates Privacy Policy

Freeskates is a Garmin Connect IQ app for recording freeskates, drift skates, inline skating, and urban cruising activities.

Data Used by the App

Freeskates may access activity-related data provided by your Garmin device, including:

• Elapsed time
• Distance
• Current speed
• Average speed
• Maximum speed
• Heart rate
• Garmin heart rate zones
• Location/GPS-derived activity data

This data is used only to display ride metrics on the watch and to record your activity through Garmin's activity recording system.

Data Collection

Freeskates does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data with the developer.

The app does not use a developer-operated server, analytics service, advertising network, or tracking system.

Any activity data saved by the app is handled by your Garmin device and Garmin services, such as Garmin Connect, according to Garmin's own privacy policies and settings.

Permissions

Freeskates requests Garmin permissions needed for its core features, including activity recording, sensor data, positioning, and user profile data. These permissions are used only to provide the app's activity tracking and on-screen metrics.

Third Parties

Freeskates does not directly share data with third parties. Data stored or synced through Garmin products and services is governed by Garmin's policies.

Children's Privacy

Freeskates is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not send personal data to the developer.
